| LOS ANGELES (AFP) - "American Beauty" and "American Pie" star Mena Suvari, 29, and musical director Simone Sestito are engaged to be married, the independent film actress' representative told People magazine. |

The couple decided to tie the knot at a yet unspecified date during a recent trip to Jamaica, the magazine said Wednesday on its website. Suvari and Sestito met at Toronto's International Film Festival last year when the actress was promoting her film "Stuck". Suvari rose to prominence in "American Beauty" (1999) as the sexy teenager who seduced Kevin Spacey, who won a best actor Oscar for his role.
